All EV makers operating in Thailand — Tesla, BYD (Rever Automotive), MG (SAIC), GWM Ora, Neta, Volvo, BMW i, Mercedes EQ — require flatbed transport. The drive motors regenerate voltage when wheels spin, which can fry the inverter when the car is powered down. A 12V jump-pack is often needed first to release the parking brake before loading. Reputable English-speaking operators carry both flatbed and 12V boosters.
